I just love you (A poem)

I love you
Just doesn’t cut it
You are a permanent resident in my dreams
And the monster in my closet
The smell of night scented stock
Hot donuts at the fair
The hot water hitting your shoulders on a frosty morning shower
You feel like the nice direction of stroking velvet
And the reverse
You are the beginning
And the end
And the bridge
Of my favourite song
The coda at the end of my symphony
But yes
I just love you
